Finding Jupiter, no telescope required

It seems like everyday we come across some new pop-rock band trying to make it big, but the hard truth is that their music usually sounds the same as the next band.  Boring.  Yet sometimes you come across a new band that really stand outs.  A new sound, new voice, new look and new vibe really.  Take the band Finding Jupiter, for example.  They’re not your typical indie/rock/pop band.  They have a unique sound that has won them awards across the nation and has continued to bring them loyal fans with every new song they release.  They write their own music, write their own songs and actually produce their songs themselves.  Pretty much they do everything and they do it extremely well.

Speaking of doing things well, the students at Stanford University shot and edited their brand new music video for their baller song “Do It Again”!  They JUST released it on YouTube, check it out!

About Finding Jupiter:

They are San Fransisco based indie/rock/pop band that came together in 2009.  All students from Stanford University, so you (a) know they’re smart, (b) know they have it together and (c) know they are likely to be very talented.  All true.

Band Members:

Sarah Masimore, vocals and rhythm guitar (Okay, okay, so I didn’t come outright and say my sister was in the band but that’s because I didn’t want you to think I was just saying all this stuff to be nice.  She’s my sister so I don’t have to be nice haha.  Seriously though.  Everything I have said is true, or else I wouldn’t have put it up on LLG!)

Dean Schaffer, backup vocals and lead guitar

Peter Mcdonald, bass

Taylor Brady, drums

Hope you love this little gem!

Pop Rock Onnnnn,
Hannah
