Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip

Superbowl Sunday may have just passed, but it doesn't mean you have to put away those dip recipes just yet!  They're good for potlucks, parties and well, eating.  Leftovers?  Freeze it and use them next week!

Here's a dip I made for our "Superbowl Party" that ended up being a party of two.  Me. And Ben.  Butttttt, that's besides the point.  More dip for us!  It's a house version of Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Chicken Dip.  Tastes just like spicy buffalo chicken wings!  It's deliiiiiiiiiicious, especially if you like spicy.  Next party you go to, I suggest whipping up this little gem.  It's fast and easy and definitely a crowd pleaser.  (The first time I had it was at a company potluck I organized...it was one of the first dips gone!)

What you need:
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained (I accidentaly bought 4.5 ounce cans so our dip was a little less chunky and less goupy...we liked it better that way actually!  So it's your choice how much chicken you want.)
  • 1/2 cup ranch salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (any kind will do!)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • chips, veggies, crackers...anything for dipping!

What to do to get to dip heaven:

Get your ingredients.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees on Bake.

Mix softened cream cheese until smooth (smooth enough for me).

Add ranch and hot sauce.

Add shredded mozzarella and mix!  Looks appetizing, right?

Throw chicken chunks into the mix and it looks even better...

Mix all ingredients together!
Put chicken dip mixture into an oven-safe container.

Then pop it in the preheated over for 20 minutes...After 20 minutes...you're ready to go dipping!  Mmmmm...looks better now right?  Well, I can garauntee it tastes much better than it actually looks.

One last thing, we did our own two person Super Bowl Pool, and guess who won?  Me :)

Just keep dippin', dippin', dippin'
Hannah
