Fiesta Friday ~ National Strawberry Picking Day = Strawberry Daiquiri Day!

Not kidding...today is actually National Strawberry Picking Day!  So, in light of freshly picked strawberries, I'm suggesting making some strawberry daiquiris for your weekend festivities...

If you want to do it by the books...

• Strawberry daiquiri mix
• Rum

BLEND!!!!

If you want to DIMS it (courtesy of Ben's mom's instructions....so good)...

• 1 container of frozen Limeade
• Rum
• Fresh strawberries

BLEND!!!!

Have our cake...and I will eat it too

As you know I'm on a no baked good and candy and chocolate and all things I once loved (I'm doing good!) plan.  But when it comes to our wedding cake?  I have Ben to attest for the fact that I will have some.  Can't wait!  Look how pretty this one is...no fondant and ALL ICING...just the way I like it.

Oooooohhhhhhhhhh the memories linked with old-time favorite TV shows.  Not gonna lie, Ben and I watched a couple episodes on Netflix not long ago.  It's interesting looking at these shows from a more "adult" mindset.
